Pooh Bear is a rescue from a high kill shelter in California. We don’t know what happened but he was confiscated by authorities which tells us the conditions where he was living must have been bad. He is shy in the beginning but will warm up quickly. This little guy deserves the absolute best and we are looking for a stable, quiet home for him where he can blossom and gets lots of love. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting him. 360 2580702
Miniature Pinscher Mix, 17 lbs,  6 yrs, Current Shots, Neutered, Housetrained

Lulu is a rescue from the streets of Mexico. She is a little shy at first but when she gets to trust you she is the most loyal dog ever. She’s a quiet girl and pretty low maintenance. Just grateful to be in an home and have a cozy bed, she is completely housebroken and after a while she actually also enjoys cuddles and kisses. She will be okay with another dog that is calm but would also be okay to be an only dog. Unfortunately she is very scared of men and would do best in a female household. This girl is super sweet and special. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting her. 360 2580702

Corgi/Blue Heeler Mix, 20 lbs,  8 mos, Current Shots, Neutered, Good with Dogs

This 12 lbs, 6 mo old dog came from an RV homeless encampment that the city cleared out. Some lady came by with him and was going to let him loose so we took him. He needs just socializing-prob trapped in an RV all day in a crate. He is super sweet but a little fearful, understandably. We haven't been able to work with him on that. He would do great somewhere where he will be socialized more. His name is Lester. He can be puppy nippy. He is a little leary of men and will nip at them if they reach for him too quickly. We don't know how he will be with kids. Otherwise he follows us around and gets into puppy mischief. He is housetrained! Please call us if you’re interested and adopting him. 360 2580702
Chihuahua/Whippet Mix, 12 lbs,  8 mos, Current Shots, Neutered, Good with Dogs, Housetrained

Hi… my name is Peaches
I’m a 5-year-old Pittie mix from Tijuana, Mexico, and I’m looking for my foster or forever home here in Portland, Oregon.
Before I was rescued, I spent most of my life living neglected in a cage. But some amazing humans saved me and helped me travel all the way here so I could finally have a chance at a real life filled with love, grass, cuddles, and snacks.
I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, and I LOVE people. I’m also good with dogs and even some cats! I can be a little protective of my dinner or treats around other dogs sometimes, but my foster families have helped me so much and I’ve done really well living with other dogs and even a cat.
I’m also working on getting healthier and stronger. I’ve already lost 6 pounds in the last 6 weeks because I LOVE walks. Grass and trails are my favorite things ever. I do have an old wrist injury from my life in Tijuana that healed a little funny, so I’m more of a “lots of shorter walks” girl instead of long hikes. Dr. March at Riverbend Vet checked me out and says it looks stable.
My favorite hobbies include:
• Giving kisses
• Getting kisses
• Snuggling
• Eating snacks
• More kisses
• Naps
• Following you around lovingly
Did I mention I’m a really great kisser? Because I am. LOL.
I’d probably do best in a home with a fenced yard and some grass to roll around on. Older kids would be best too — not because I’m mean at all, but because I get excited and could accidentally knock over little humans.
More than anything, I just want a family of my own.
Would you like to meet me or maybe foster me?
